The late Jean Humphreys, President of the Leicester Literary and Philosophical Society 2009-2010, has made a generous bequest to the Society to fund in perpetuity the annual Arthur and Jean Humphreys Lecture, named in honour of Jean and her husband Professor Arthur Humphreys.
